Storeperson / Warehouse Operator - Permanent Full Time

Our client is the world's largest producer of plastic polymers, compounds, and resins used as raw materials in the manufacturing of goods for various industries, including Agriculture, Building and Construction, Electrical & Electronics, Packaging, Personal Care, and Hygiene, Leisure, and Homewares, etc.

They are currently looking for an experienced Storeperson / Warehouse Operator to join their team on a full-time permanent basis and perform end-to-end warehouse duties including the coordination and movement of inwards/outwards goods and supply of materials internally for processing within the plant. This is a Day Shift position working from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm, Monday through to Friday with optional overtime available.

Key responsibilities in these roles will include:

• Electric forklift operation and charging
• Loading and unloading trucks and containers
• Receiving finished goods and raw materials
• Issuing raw materials to Production
• Printing labels for consignments
• Arranging daily dispatches and maintaining daily run sheets
• Arranging transport and couriers for daily dispatches locally, interstate, and overseas
• Packaging goods for interstate travel
• Maintaining records and documents within the file management system

To be successful in these roles you will be expected to have:

• A current LF Forklift license with some experience in a Warehouse, preferably in a similar environment
• Excellent time management and organisational skills
• MS Office and general computer literacy
• Fluent English verbal, written, and numeracy skills
• Ability to demonstrate initiative with a proactive approach to enhance processes and improve performance, safety, and efficiency
• Good mechanical aptitude and a reasonable amount of fitness to work on your feet
• Safety focus, willingness to learn, and attention to detail
