We have a new Senior Marketing Executive role working from our West London office on a 1 or 2 day per week basis on a 6- month fixed term contract. The Senior Marketing Executive will be required to drive best practices and deliver results in new and existing markets through the use of effective multi-channel targeted marketing to increase/create sales and revenue for BSI's flagship subscription product BSOL. The candidate will be required to be proactive to deliver creative and engaging customer-focused marketing to deliver results at all stages in the subscription pipeline. This role will be accountable for the support of overall strategic planning, delivery, and monitoring of marketing campaigns, with a focus on new markets, and optimizing existing campaign and collateral performance. Close working relationships will be developed with stakeholders internally, across the UK (working closely with colleagues in Milton Keynes), and internationally (with a focus on EMEA). Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities Plan, schedule and strategize Support the planning and execution of the product marketing strategy by working closely with Sector Managers, Sales, Product, and external BSI Marketing teams to deliver campaigns with a focus on content and digital marketing Deliver and improve results across our general non-sector-specific marketing campaigns, constantly testing and optimizing to deliver performance (including landing page performance; shop campaign; free trials, and abandoned forms) - ensure general messaging and general marketing tools (case studies; videos; search and web performance) are effective in aiding online buying decisions, driving traffic and delivering leads Work with the Senior Marketing Manager and other internal stakeholders to successfully plan and deliver marketing campaigns that break into new markets in construction and built environment, automotive, aerospace and health and safety Plan and maintain effective monthly campaigns to generate leads and drive awareness of BSOL utilising the full marketing communications mix to meet monthly lead targets - proactively seeking new opportunities and testing new ideas in order to deliver results Manage the campaign and content marketing schedule for specific industry/region to ensure that they are executed at the agreed time and follow metrics to improve the effectiveness Execute Create multi-channel campaigns with a special focus on content and digital marketing (email, social and both paid and organic search) Work closely with Group Marketing to identify new channels, techniques or tools which allow you to enhance your campaigns or experiment with new initiatives Write effective briefs for third-party suppliers, keep positioning strategy and objectives in mind Manage editorial-led content plans to produce high-quality, creative content marketing pieces for thought leadership and lead generation/lead nurturing with a focus on the built environment blog Update and manage all appropriate landing pages including a call to action, case studies, hosted content marketing, SEO keywords, titles, and copy Run campaigns that support existing customer renewal upgrades e.g. encouraging customers to upgrade their subscriptions by adding on additional packages Communicate Share best practices with the wider subscriptions marketing team, ensuring that campaign reporting processes are followed and maintained - continue to seek ways to improve reporting and campaign delivery As required, support the Senior Marketing Manager in internal speaking opportunities / and to wider offices to communicate BSOL strategy and ongoing results Communicate outcomes of campaigns and trends to your manager and wider team, record performance in the team's channel report and campaign planner Work closely with stakeholders, the wider team, and international contacts to develop relationships and maximize promotional opportunities for the product Work with the sales team to collate and share customer feedback and challenges, and enhance sales conversations by providing suitable support materials per customer type and region Knowledge / Skills / Abilities Minimum 2 years' experience, executing campaigns in a similar Marcomms role Graduate with additional marketing qualifications is desirable (e.g. CIM or digital marketing from the DMA) Strong time-management skills and the ability to develop working relationships with colleagues is vital Proactive and results orientated, with the ability to balance multiple projects and spontaneous marketing opportunities that may arise Proven experience setting clear campaign goals and ability to measure against that and adapt Strong copywriting skills and the ability to work on short copy for the google ad network or social media Experience of the full range of digital marketing channels is desirable Understand the legal aspects of marketing from Data Protection, Trade Descriptions to Distance Selling Experience of Search Engine Marketing (Organic and Paid), Social Media Marketing, Web and E-mail marketing Experience of working with event organisers and logistics of events Good understanding of CMS and CRM systems Desirable experience of Pardot email marketing automation platform What we offer!
