About Our Client

A reputed public sector organisation located in Melbourne that is an industry leader.

Job Description

  • Provide procurement support and specialist advice including across the organisation on procurement policies.
  • Draft and prepare all procurement documentation according to government guidelines.
  • Manage and update the procurement register and provide reporting of all procurement activities.
  • Manage end to end procurement activities and documentation.
  • Co-ordinate activities with the Contract Management Office, Procurement Division, and Finance and Departmental legal staff as required.

The Successful Applicant

  • The successful candidate will have a sound knowledge of government policies and frameworks.
  • 2+ years experience in procurement in the Public sector.
  • Experience with Victorian public sector procurement including use of government panel contracts is desirable.
  • Prior experience with managing complex procurement procedures.
  • Excellent communication skills and a can-do attitude.
