About Our Client

A renowned sports entity known to host large scale sporting events throughout the year. Home to major sporting teams across Victoria. Is well known to provide exceptional services to its customers and employees.

Job Description

  • Procurement planning, preparation, and reporting to ensure probity, accountability and transparency and deliver value for money to the Trust.
  • Development of RFx documentation and leading the market engagement phase of each project.
  • Participation in evaluation, negotiation and selection processes and drafting recommendation reports for approval by the Executive Sponsor.
  • Providing sound and considered operational procurement advice to the Capital Works Project Team and other key stakeholders.
  • Coordination with key project stakeholders to ensure project materials are delivered to support deadlines.

The Successful Applicant

  • Demonstrated experience in the application of, and sound understanding of Victorian Government procurement requirements including:
    • Ministerial Directions for Public Construction Procurement
    • VGPB Goods and Services Policies
    • Victorian Social Procurement Framework
    • Local Jobs First Policy
  • Proven success in executing complex procurement to a tight schedule.
  • Experience working on minor works construction projects.
  • Exceptional communication (verbal and written) and influencing skills.
  • Strong business acumen and current knowledge of appropriate legislation.
  • Ability to think at a strategic level whist also being customer focused and team orientated.
  • Familiarity with Victorian Government Procurement contract templates and requirements.
