My client is a critical State Government entity with exposure to major WA projects. They play a major role in shaping key infrastructure developments across the state.
Job Description
This role will see you lead the strategic direction of procurement within the organisation. The role will primarily be an advisory leader to each project under the company portfolio. Furthermore this role will oversee the overall procurement strategy and planning which is then applied to each project.
The Successful Applicant
The successful candidate will be an experienced professional with exposure to Government procurement such as a government trading enterprise or similar. Candidates who have a combination of experience in private and public sector will be highly regarded. You will be a leader of people with a passion for coaching, training and developing staff.Operationally, you will be highly skilled at setting up and implementing strategic procurement plans for the short and long term. You will have a strong focus on identifying continuous improvement opportunities along with being in the day to day detail of the function.
