Your new company
This Local Council are currently experiencing busy times within their parking department. Seeking several Parking Officers to start on a one month probation period with a high opportunity for extension beyond this based on performance and culture fit.

The Councils have modern facilities, surrounded by shops and cafes. You will be joining a dedicated and professional team focused on quality and outstanding customer service.

Your new role
To assist in the application of the Road Safety Act and Victorian Road Rules to increase opportunities to obtain suitable parking spaces with the municipality for residents, businesses and the general public. You will issue infringements when necessary, educate the public on road rules and assist with the safe movement of vehicle and pedestrian traffic.

What you'll need to succeed
You will have excellent customer service skills and will be able to demonstrate your ability to communicate with members of the general public in a polite and professional manner. You will have previous experience working for a Local Council in a parking enforcement position or a similar enforcement/compliance role. You will be a team player and be able to work using your initiative.
