2XM Recruit are a leading National Provider of Recruitment & Labour Hire Services with over 10 years’ experience supplying highly qualified Technical Engineering & Blue-Collar personnel to the Mining, Rail, Engineering & Construction industries across Australia.
 
We are seeking experienced trade qualified Mechanical fitters to join our strong likeminded team. We're looking for team members with a positive attitude, enjoy working within a team and someone who is ultimately looking for stability and wanting to join a company that prides itself on work life balance and a good team environment. This role is working within the thriving Engineering industry which is THE industry to be in right now. The role involves installing modular assemblies, bolting them together to form the final piece of machinery.

Applicants should be experienced in fixed plant, quarries or heavy industry and have previously worked on conveyor lines, gearboxes, screens etc. performing general / routine maintenance, breakdowns and shutdowns. You will need to be able to diagnose problems, fault find and be able to think outside the box implement solutions.

The Role

• Installing modular assembly components
• Experience on new plant assembly
• Installation experience on assembly of modular manufacturing equipment
• Able to work in a busy project environment
• Able to be versatile within the role

Experience/Requirements

• Trade qualified
• Have a strong attention to detail due to working with delicate components
• Previous experience with installing machinery, modular assembly
• General Construction Induction Card
• Current Drivers licence with your own reliable transport
• Motivated and reliable
