IT Manager

Your new company
An exciting opportunity awaits an experienced IT Manager to join a well known Manufacturing organisation. You will be the driver for determining solutions to business software/hardware system problems and working collaboratively with the Senior Leadership & Executive team. You will be able to develop strategy and vision for the effective use of the current information technology systems and plans for the future.

Your new role
In the position you key accountabilities will include, but not to limited to:

• Manage the department to meet the business and departmental objectives to support business growth
• Identify, engage and manage third party ICT providers as necessary
• ICT commissioning and integration of new equipment - pre and post purchase
• Manage and deliver digital transformation
• Delivery and maintenance of the ERP program - including the internal project management required.
• Implementation of a Cyber Security program that meets customer and legislative requirements
• Delivery and communication of data backup and disaster recovery and business continuity plans
• Provisioning of infrastructure needs via on-premise and cloud-based approaches
• Delivery of project work on-time and on-budget

What you'll need to succeed
In order for you to be successful in this role, you will be able to demonstrate:

• Proactive in showing initiative and forward planning
• Able to contribute to the establishment of an environment and culture that fosters continuous improvement, self-sufficiency and supports colleagues and all staff in striving for a high level of performance
• Analyse, develop specifications and budgetary estimates for continuously improving business performance
• Contribute to the strategic direction of the organisation
• Prepare financial estimates, manage projects, monitor expenditure and budgets
• Able to manage the existing infrastructure of the department
• A high level communicator, including an ability to proactively resolve conflict quickly and effectively
• Proven experience in IT leadership positions.
