The Victoria Clinic is looking to employ Food Services Assistants to join their busy department on a part time basis. You will work collaboratively in a dynamic team environment that strives to deliver outstanding healthcare to our patients.

As a Food Services Assistant your responsibilities will include:

• Preparation and delivery of food in accordance with Food Safety Program (FSP)
• Monitor and accurately record food and machine temperatures
• Clean and maintain utensils and kitchen equipment in accordance with hospital & industry food safety and hygiene standards

Located on Malvern Road in Prahran, The Victoria Clinic is a 52 patient-bed private psychiatric facility that specialises in the provision of high quality inpatient and outpatient mental health services.

All treatments offered are aimed at helping people improve their psychological and emotional well-being in a safe and supportive environment.

Individuals are exposed to a variety of therapeutic, recreational and occupational activities as a means of restoring health.

The Victoria Clinic is close to public transport, has free onsite parking and is close to Chapel Street restaurants and shopping.

Selection Criteria:

• Current Food Handlers Certificate - Level 1
• Prior experience in Healthcare Food Services
• Basic computer skills
• Passion for delivering exceptional customer service
• Demonstrated ability to work without supervision as well as a part of a team
• Excellent time management skills
• Flexible to work a variety of shifts - early/late shifts & weekend work
• Excellent communicator
• Well presented
• Adaptable to change
