About Our Client

My Client is a leading financial institution who are undergoing a huge digital transformation for their online and digital banking assets, (mobile and web). They are investing in long term growth including expanding on their digital capability to deliver a premium service to their customers to build a progressive bank for the future.

Job Description

The Digital Product Manager will be accountable for the digital assets (mobile and web) including the Customer experience from registration through to transfer bookings and all associated journeys and communications.

The role will include;

  • Define and maintain a shared product vision in collaboration with your key stakeholders. Work with product, business stakeholders & delivery teams to ensure the roadmap is aligned with strategic priorities and focused business outcomes;
  • Lead with a 'customer centric' mindset with the ability to critique existing and new customer journeys in the eyes of a customer;
  • Work collaboratively with UX and CRO specialists to improve the online experience and customer acquisition
  • Translate product roadmap into well-defined product requirements including user stories, acceptance criteria and artefacts required for development
  • Prioritise and manage the overall backlog. Ensuring the backlog is visible, transparent, and clear to all, and shows what the delivery team will work on next
  • Lead, support and collaborate with Product, development teams and the business in Agile

The Successful Applicant

The right candidate for this role will possess;

  • Previous Experience as Digital Product Manager- building digital products in complex technology-based environments. Ideally with retail banking in the mobile and apps space
  • Proven experience successfully delivering end-to-end digital experiences in product ownership of web and mobile apps
  • Experience in digital transformation programs working in an agile environment
  • Demonstrated stakeholder and relationship management, excellent impact and influence
  • Demonstrated experience communicating product vision and goals to teams,
  • Experience in analysis, strong documentation skills and ability to break down requirements into user stories
  • Project management skills focusing on time management, roles and responsibilities, quality control and risk management
  • Excellent problem solving and analytical skills - can identify and understand issues, problems and opportunities and develop appropriate solutions
