Credit Officer

Our client is a Leading Australian manufacturing company who specialise in Electrical & Automation Products. They are looking for a Credit Officer to manage an aged trial balance, including reconciliations, cash allocation, management of claims, and liaising with internal and external contacts. The role is a contracted role with opportunities for it to be ongoing.

Essential requirements:

• Experience working in a Credit function
• Solid understanding of credit concepts
• Previous experience reconciling customer accounts
• Systems savviness (Microsoft D365)
• Intermediate MS Excel skills, including experience with V Look Up

Duties include but not limited to:

• Management of an allocated ledger
• Following up on overdue accounts and current accounts
• Customer account reconciliations
• Management of customer order release
• Credit assessment of new accounts and opening accounts
• Coordination and processing of company financial credits in a timely manner
• Opening new accounts
