APPRENTICE - SPRINKLER FITTER[MEC00000203] EQUANS ANZ EQUANS Fire Protection is searching for people looking to start or continue their Sprinkler Fitting apprenticeship based in Central Queensland (Brisbane). We are open to 1st Years, 2nd Years and 3rd Year students! This is a great opportunity to start your Sprinkler Fitting in a supportive and experienced team environment. With maintenance contracts with clients like Universities and Local Councils, you will be exposed to a variety of different systems and processes, even with the chance to work with our other multiservice businesses, Electrical and Communications and HVAC and Refrigeration. Role overview Working under the direction of a qualified Sprinkler Fitter, you will gain technical training and experience in line with the State Apprenticeship program. Over the course of your apprenticeship, you will be hands on and completing tasks such as installing fixtures, fixing and replacing defective and outdating sprinkler parts, soldering and welding, testing and inspecting sprinkler systems and more. This is a four-year apprenticeship consisting of on the job and formal technical training which will provide the skills and knowledge to work towards becoming a fully qualified Sprinkler Fitter responsible for ongoing servicing, maintenance and upgrades in Sprinkler and WET systems.
