Police seize two firearms at Liverpool home

Police seized two firearms when they allegedly raided a Liverpool home yesterday morning, January 11.

Strike Force Kelmscott was established by detectives from the State Crime Command’s Drug and Firearms Squad as an ongoing investigation into the illegal supply and possession of firearms and drugs across south-west Sydney.

A search warrant enabled local police and the state squad to find a sawn off .22 rifle and a 12-gauge sawn off shotgun at the Liverpool home.

Police spoke to a man, 52, at the home. However, no arrests were made during the encounter.

Police investigations are ongoing and more updates from the Champion are to come.
