A woman has been charged after allegedly pointing a replica firearm at police and the public at ChippingNorton on Saturday night.

Just before 8pm, police allege, a woman, 23, parked a silver Mercedes sedan outside a home on Bon Street before pointing what appeared to be a firearm at a man, 25.

She then drove to Haerse Avenue and allegedly drove at two men, 19 and 20, before fleeing.

Liverpool police attended and began investigating.

Early Sunday morning, about 3.10am, MountDruitt police were patrolling Bouganville Road at Blackett when they came across the silver Mercedes sedan.

The woman driver was stopped on Popondetta Road by officers where she allegedly produced the replica firearm again.

She was arrested and taken to Mount Druitt police station where she was charged with intimidation, menacing driving, assaulting police and having a firearm.

She was refused bail and was due in Parramatta bail court on Sunday.

No one was physically injured in either incident.

Inquiries continue.
