A report published on Monday on BusinessDay, "Energy policy 'must go beyond fuel source'," incorrectly attributed quotes to Australia's Chief Scientist Alan Finkel. The comments attributed to Dr Finkel on energy policy were in fact made by the shadow assistant treasurer Andrew Leigh.
Fairfax Media apologises to Dr Finkel for this misrepresentation.
