NSW Police appeal for public assistance following Kemps Creek armed robbery

A police investigation is underway following an armed robbery at a service station in Kemps Creek early Thursday morning.

About 2.40am, police were told a man armed with a firearm entered the Elizabeth Drive store and threatened staff.

The man stole cash and cigarettes before fleeing in a silver Mitsubishi Lancer.

No-one was injured during the incident.

Police attached to St Marys Local Area Command attended the store and established a crime scene.

Investigators wish to speak with a man who may be able to assist with their inquiries.

He has been described as being of Caucasian appearance, about 175cm tall, and wearing a dark-coloured pants and a red shirt.
