The Vanuatu men's hockey team are calling Moorebank home this week.

The Moorebank Liverpool District Hockey Club answered an SOS to support the team through the adopt-a-country program.

They are providing transport, accommodation, food and support for Vanuatu throughout the Intercontinental Hockey 5s tournament where they will play Fiji, Samoa, Solomon Islands and Tonga.

The club has some transport support from Benchmark Reality and Little Wings, which they greatly appreciate.

“They needed some help to make it to the championships and we as a club decided we could help,” life member Sue Cotterill said.
