Sir Benji is a male great Dane cross who’s two and half years old.
His day is spent doing simple things like snoozing under a leafy tree. He doesn’t mind spending the day alone while his owner is at work.
But when they come home Sir Benji will want to be their shadow. He loves to play ball and other games, particularly if there are treats involved.
Sir Benji is protective of women in his life and can be reserved around new menfolk, taking their measure through guarded eyes and demonstrating exactly how deep his voice can get.
But with some patience, treats and training, Sir Benji will make a wonderful pet. He would be happy as an only dog, but if there is another, he would prefer they be female and smaller but not too small as Sir Benji is quite a large dog.
As Pet of the Week, Sir Benji’s adoption fee is $150, which includes desexing, microchipping, vaccination, flea treatment, worming and lifetime registration in NSW.
There are several things you should consider when adopting a dog into your home. Ask yourself: What size would be the best fit for our home? Is our household noisy or quiet? What breeds are we equipped for? And how secure is our back yard?
