Family day: Presented by the Life Choices Foundation on Sunday, July 23 from 10am at Sydney Motorsport Park, Brabham Drive, Eastern Creek. See one of Sydney’s biggest and best car displays, take part in a track day or experience a hot lap with V8 racer Andrew Fishtail Fisher. There is also a kids zone and teen zone with a wide range of rides and high adrenalin activities. The Life Choices Foundation provides a range of programs in high schools and jails, challenging people to take control of their life and to make it count. Admission is by gold coin donation. Glimpse into past: The Liverpool to Holdsworthy Railway WWI features an exhibition of trains and the story of this now forgotten railway which is part of Liverpool’s history. There are also exhibits from the home front and what women did for the war effort. Men’s Shed: Community-based non-profit organisation which aims to provide a safe, friendly environment for men to work on meaningful projects. Activities include carpentry, wood turning, computer work, metal fabrication and welding as well as table games and other hobbies.
