From July 17 traffic conditions may change with night road work on Wallgrove Road, Cecil Park.
It is part of a $1.5 billion program to update the 18,028 kilometre state road network.
According to Roads and Maritime Services there will be temporary traffic changes, lane closures and it may affect access to some homes and businesses.
However, traffic controllers will be available so people can enter and leave safely.
Noisier tasks will finish by 11pm for residents in the area.
The purpose of the road works are to repaint and improve the surface of roads on Wallgrove Road, Cecil Park near Elizabeth Drive.
Other work will focus on preventing safety issues on the road caused by weather and wear.
