Library computers appear to be out of order
Liverpool library seems to have had seven computers out of order for much too long.
From what I can see, only 22 out of the 29 computers are available – including one for heritage research.
Seven appear to be out of order and have been for months – that’s a quarter of the available computers.
Why have they been out of service for such a long time?
Not much seems to have been done to repair these computers.
What can we expect next?
Is it an issue of insufficient funds for the computers' proper maintenance?
What's the real problem here?
This is a long-term issue and one which has been growing gradually for a long while.
The situation is a real nuisance with seemingly no light at the end of the tunnel.
