The 12-year-old was one of a small group of young Sydney dancers to win the chance to perform on stage with Bieber during his Purpose concert at ANZ Stadium last week.

Jamila, along with thousands of other hopefuls, submitted a you tube video of themselves performing his routine.

Johanna van Althuis-Jones, one of Jamila’s dance teachers at the Glenda Yee School Of Dance in Prestons, said Jamila always had the “wow” factor.

“I was lucky enough to go to the concert and watch her and couldn’t be prouder,” she said.
