ACU POETRY WINNERS
Kirsten Lang has won the 2015 Australian Catholic University Prize for Poetry with her poem Glass. The winner and runners-up Josephine Wilson and Canberra poet P.S. Cottier (who won third prize for her poem Route 9) were announced on Thursday night at ACU's Melbourne Campus as part of the Melbourne Writer's Festival.
REEDER SHORTLISTED
Lennie the Legend: Solo to Sydney by Pony (NLA Publishing), by Canberra author and Canberra Times reviewer Dr Stephanie Owen Reeder, has been shortlisted in the New South Wales Premier's History Awards 2015 for the Young People's History Prize. The winners will be announced on September 4 at the State Library of New South Wales.
