LIVERPOOL PCYC now offers four new weekly classes, including the Mums and Bubs recreation time.
Club manager Leann Dobbin said the centre had been trying to start the new programs for some time, but had struggled to obtain the right numbers.
"The Mums and Bubs class was designed to give mums a well-earned break," she said.
"While the mums sit back and relax, their children are guided through an obstacle course."
The program is for children aged between 18 months and five years, and it aims to develop gross and fine motor skills, independent movement and thinking as well as co-ordination and co-operation.
The class is held every Monday at 9.30am and costs $5.
The club also now offers a senior fitness class on Mondays, ladies-only boxing and zumba classes on Tuesdays. Mrs Dobbin said the club offers more than 10 different classes each week.
"On top of these we are running free boxing classes at a number of local high schools," she said.
"But still looking for one or two more schools in need to run this for.
"We really are a little family. Everyone knows each other and is always friendly."
