RUNNERS and walkers can hit the pavement to commemorate their loved ones while raising money to aid cancer research this Saturday.
The Cancer Council Fun Run will be held from 10am at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Leppington.
Aside from the run, there will be a Zumba area, fitness displays, lucky door prizes and children's rides at the event.
The Ingleburn Lions Club will provide a free sausage sizzle and water stations are sponsored by Guardian Funerals Macarthur and White Lady Funerals Camden.
Entry is $10 for individuals, $30 for a team and non-runners or walkers can make a gold coin donation. All funds will go to the Cancer Council.
The park's family service manager Sue Kennedy said the event would be fun for all ages.
"Absolutely everyone, no matter of your age or fitness level, is welcome to come along and take part," she said. "This will be a fantastic day and a great way to raise funds for a very worthwhile cause while having fun with your friends, colleagues or family members."
