SAM Ayache's rugby league tentacles spread across many spheres of the game.
Ayache has been involved for more than two decades as a junior player, in coaching, administration, marketing and corporate levels.
Ayache, several months ago, was appointed the Sharks corporate sales manager.
Then there is his role as football operations manager with Kingsgrove Colts Rugby League Club's team in the Ron Massey Cup competition.
He has worked at the Newcastle Knights as an assistant coach to Rick Stone in the NSW Cup before moving to the Sydney Roosters in a statistics and marketing role.
Ayache, 38, of Kogarah, said being involved in rugby league at so many levels has created so many great opportunities in helping players fulfil their dream in playing in the NRL.
Ayache said his links with all levels of the game, especially in the juniors, had helped him in his job at the Sharks.
"Being involved at the grassroots level has helped, as it gives you an understanding dealing and working with clubs," he said.
The Ron Massey Cup is run by the NSW Rugby League and the Colts play their home games at Jubilee Oval and Hurstville Oval.
Ayache said Cronulla chief executive Steve Noyce helped him establish the Kingsgrove Colts Ron Massey Cup team in 2011 and created an affiliation with the Sydney Roosters under 20s team, which has continually developed over the past four years.
"I have also had fantastic support from State MP for Kogarah Ms Cherie Burton, Ian Todd (Kingsgrove RSL), Chris Thomas (Kingsgrove Hotel), Adam Hartigan (NYC Coach), St George Junior League and Steve Edege at the Dragons," Ayache said.
"They have all played a part in ensuring our club and players are provided the opportunity to assist them in reaching their goals in rugby league, considering the limited operational budget we currently have compared to other clubs in the competition."
He said working at the Sharks was a new and positive phase in his career. "It has provided me a huge challenge that I wanted and working with great people within the organisation has made it even more exciting," he said.
Ayache said the Sharks had more than 150 corporate partners.
He said new corporate signings included , Martec (sleeve sponsor), Sutherland Holden (shorts), Parkside Pharmacy (NSW State Cup) and McDonalds (Family Hill).
