LIVERPOOL is home to the state's largest Service NSW centre, which since opening last month, has served more than 14,000 customers.
NSW Services Minister Dominic Perrottet this week officially opened the Liverpool centre, which combines a range of government services, including applications for birth, death and marriage certificates, driver's licences, vehicle registration and more than 800 other transactions
Mr Perrottet said the average waiting time for clients is about three minutes and the centre had received a customer satisfaction score of 99 per cent.
Menai MP Melanie Gibbons said she was pleased the centre was providing customers with access to a range of government transactions in the one place.
"Prior to the opening of this new centre, customers would have had to travel to Sydney or Parramatta to be served face-to-face for birth, death and marriage services," Ms Gibbons said.
The centre is at the Megacenta Liverpool, 2-20 Orange Grove Road, Liverpool.
Opening hours are 7am to 7pm, Monday to Friday, and 9am to 3pm on Saturdays.
