Bonnyrigg White Eagles surrendered a two-goal lead — and potentially the premiership — in their 3-2 loss to the league leading Blacktown Spartans in round 15 of the Football NSW Men's Elite 1 competition.
First-half goals to Robbie Younis and Aaron Peterson weren't enough to extend their five-game winning streak and leaves them in third place — six points behind the Spartans.
It was a bad weekend all round for local teams with Sydney United 58 FC losing 1-0 to Manly and Marconi's three-game winning streak was snapped at the hands of Sutherland 2-1.
