ADVICE about which qualifications are necessary to land that dream job can be found at the Western Sydney Careers Expo.

Among those on hand and happy to any questions will be staff from the University of Western Sydney (UWS) who'll be armed with lots of information about the wide range of courses on offer at the university's various campuses.

UWS is ranked in the top 100 young universities in the world, and its teachers have won the Australian University Teacher of the Year Award for two years in a row.

With six campuses across greater western Sydney, students have a wide range of study options.

Staff at the expo will be able to give students inside tips about UWS Academy, a new program preparing students for the jobs of tomorrow.

UWS Academy aims to build an understanding of ethical leadership among its students, and its mentor and leadership programs aim to create well-rounded graduates who are prepared to meet the challenges of a globalised world.

UWS staff can also tell you more about UWS College, a program to provide an alternative pathway to university that guarantees successful graduates entry into a UWS undergraduate degree.

For more information contact UWS on 1300 897 669 or study@uws.edu.au.
