VISITORS to Liverpool Catholic Club can now park with ease at the brand new multi-storey car park.
Officially opened on Friday, May 9, the car park took 12 months to build and provides 500 parking spots for club patrons.
Operations and sports complex manager at Liverpool Catholic Club Mark Russell said the car park had been designed to provide additional convenience for visitors.
"It's absolutely great to have the new car park open. It's something that our members and their guests will greatly appreciate as it will provide a safe position to park and it gives them easy access to the main foyer of the club," he said.
Director of Wood and Day Partnership Architects, Brian Wood, said it had also been designed to satisfy the needs of a large number of people requiring covered car parking closer to the club's main entrance.
"The total gross floor area of the new car park development is 16,170 square metres and contains a ground floor level of parking, plus two elevated floor levels of parking above," he said.
"The structure includes 10 under-cover parking spaces for disabled users."
Liverpool Catholic Club is home to a wide range of facilities including a sports centre, gymnasium, ice rink and outdoor sporting facilities — and much more.
