THE Men of League Foundation's western Sydney committee will host a charity lunch and golf day at Cabramatta Golf Club on Friday, May 23.

And league fans will get the chance to rub shoulders with some of the game's greatest players.

The round of golf will be followed by lunch with many guests, including former stars Darryl Brohman, John Peard, Leo Toohey, Bruce Clark, Geoff Robinson, Terry Lamb and Paul Clark.

Former Bulldogs and Magpies legend Lamb, from Abbotsbury, has been a long-time member of Cabramatta Golf Club.

The Men of League Foundation provides services and support for men, women and children involved in all levels of the game.

Western Sydney Men of League committee secretary Gary O'Donnell said it was a great opportunity for people to support the organisation.

"We have a great bunch of past players coming to the event, in fact, it is really a case of some of the biggest names in our game joining together in support of the Men of League," O'Donnell said.

"For the community this is an opportunity to get together, support the organisation that supports our game and have a chat with some of the best players to come out of the western suburbs."

Player registration and breakfast is 7am and golf starts at 7.45am.
