GREATER Western Sydney Giants AFL team face competition leader Port Adelaide on Saturday at Manuka Oval, Canberra, aiming to break a three-match losing streak.

The Giants have been competitive in their past three games but have lost each of them.

The latest was against Gold Coast Suns at Metricon Stadium on Saturday.

The Suns kicked 20.14 (134) to the Giants' 13.16 (94).

Jeremy Cameron kicked four goals for the Giants.

The Giants are 14th after six rounds on eight points. Giants coach Leon Cameron said his team was still a work in progress.

And he believes forwards Jonathan Patton,Tom Boyd and Jeremy Cameron, will develop into a dangerous combination but cautioned supporters not to expect this in the near future.

"We like playing three talls but there will be times we go in with two and there will be times we go in with three, as long as they are all progressing in the right direction we'll be happy."
