Wanderers in harmony at Middleton Grange Public School

Western Sydney Wanderers visited students at Middleton Grange Public School as part of its community football program yesterday, Thursday, which also was Harmony Day.

And while the school will hold its own Harmony Day celebrations today, Friday, year two and year three students participated in the Wanderers coaching clinic.

Allan McCarlie, of Middleton Grange, who is the Wanderers' ambassador for the school, said this is the second time members of the Wanderers' have run the program at the school.

McCarlie is also the junior president of Leppington Lions Soccer Club.

Josh Patterson and Pedro Cuccouillo, from the Wanderers, ran the grass roots community program at the school today.

''The idea is for the kids to have a game of soccer, learn some skills and and have some fun,'' Pedro Cuccouillo said.
