FOR the past decade 10 staff members from Miller Community Preschool have worked together caring for the children of the area.
The preschool is run by Mission Australia and ten of its 16 staff have been there for at least 10 years — that's a minimum 100 years of combined service.
Katrina Smith, an employee of 14 years, said she wasn't planning on going anywhere.
"The team keeps everyone together here like a family," she said.
"And because we've been here so long we know each other's strengths and weaknesses.
"Some of our families even come back in later years when they have more children."
Centre manager Jo-Anne Platt has been with the preschool for 12 years.
She said she enjoyed working at the centre because "every day has a new challenge".
"I have an amazing team I work," she said.
"We share a common goal and we all want to achieve the best we can for the children."
Mrs Platt said the main change she had seen at the centre was the introduction of therapy learning.
"The industry has also changed but the centre is one of those places that gets into your blood.
"It's a place where you know you're surrounded by support."
The centre caters for up to 40 children each day and offers an early childhood intervention service with a minimum of 10 places for children with disabilities or developmental delays.
