A FILM festival featuring movies which explore social justice issues will be held in Liverpool next week.
The Big Picture Film Festival will open in Sydney on March 19, but then move to Liverpool Event Cinemas and Casula Powerhouse from March 26 to 29.
Movies in the festival cover issues such as slavery, human rights, conservation and many more.
Films from around the world including: Half of the Yellow Sun, Belle and Sneezing Panda: The Movie among others, will be shown.

RESIDENTS attending the Seniors Expo at Macquarie Mall on Friday can tell council staff how they think the mall could be improved.
Liverpool Council architects will be collecting residents' feedback and suggestions at the council's stall during the event, which will run from 10am to 2pm.
A council spokeswoman said staff will also be collecting feedback at the council's Harmony Day celebrations at Bigge Park on March 21.
She said the feedback will be used in the first set of architectural drawings of the new mall as part of the City Revitalisation project.
The council will also be holding official community consultation workshops on April 28, 29 and 30.
