BREAKING NEWS: Six adults and an eight-year-old child are lucky to be alive after bullets were fired into a Casula house overnight.
Liverpool Police were called to a single storey house at Ian Place at 1.15am after six bullets were fired into the dwelling.
Police said two shots were fired into the garage where four men had been sitting at the time of the attack.
Bullets were also found in the brickwork and the front window of the house in which the child lay asleep.
Liverpool superintendent, Peter Gillam, said the incident was a targeted attack and it was fortunate that no occupants were injured.
‘‘An occupant of the house is an associate of an outlaw motorcycle gang member,’’ he said.
‘‘No one was injured.’’
Superintendent Gillam said investigations were continuing.
Police are also investigating a shooting at Bonnyrigg Heights at the same time this morning.
Upon arrival officers found a bullet hole in car parked outside a house on Delgarno Road.
Police confirmed both incidents were not linked.
