COMBINING his love of pop music and opera, tenor Daniel Mallari will excite audiences when he takes to several local stages later this month.
Performing a wide variety of songs from different genres, Mallari will perform at Liverpool Catholic Club on Saturday, February 15, followed by matinee show at Smithfield RSL on Sunday, February 16.
The multi award-winning performer has represented Australia in the United States, winning the Fast Track To Fame national talent search.
He has worked with the Hong Kong Opera Society and featured in the Australian premiere of Jekyll & Hyde alongside Rob Guest.
As well as earning acclaim for his own shows, Mallari is known for headlining productions including Popera Classics Collection, The Two Tenors and The Lions Den.
Mallari's local shows promise to offer something to satisfy audience members of all ages.
Alongside selections from Broadway blockbusters including The Phantom of the Opera and Jekyll & Hyde will be renditions of some of the world's most popular classical pieces [Granada and Funiculi Funicula] and Mallari's take on many modern classical pop tracks, including The Prayer, A Mi Manera [My Way], Hallelujah and You Raise Me Up.
Both the Liverpool and Smithfield shows are free for club members and their guests.
Show time at Liverpool Catholic Club is 8.30pm in the main auditorium, while the fun starts at 2.30pm in the Orion Showroom at Smithfield RSL.
