King of romance comes to Marconi

INTERNATIONAL singing sensation Patrizio Buanne is set to wow locals when he takes to the Club Marconi stage in February 2014.

Having sold millions of albums worldwide with his unique melting approach to romantic Italian and contemporary songs, Buanne has become one of the world's most in demand touring acts in his field and has been dubbed, 'the ambassador of Dolce Vita' by his many fans.

"Its always a whirlwind touring the globe and sharing the music that I love to perform, but no matter how busy I am, I always have time for my fans in Australia, who have been there with me from the beginning," said Buanne.

"I'm really excited about returning down under."

Buanne has recorded his albums with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra at the famous Abbey Road Studios in London, and at Capital Studio in Los Angeles.

During his Club Marconi show he will perform in both English and Italian and offer a collection of his hits from the Italian songbook, including Il Mondo, Un Angelo, Forever Begins With Tonight and Solo Tu My Baby, along with his own original material, plus recordings from his new album, which is set for worldwide release on Valentine's Day 2014.

What sets Buanne apart is his natural intuition for performance and ability to create that instant rapport with his audiences.

Sophisticated, stylish, charming and romantic, locals will not only be seduced by his ballads, but completely spoilt.

"Like Chris Botto, Celine Dion and Tom Jones, I'm always searching for that same timeless quality in a song, conveying the sentiments of my music with my own romantic European approach," Buanne said.

Born to Italian parents in Austria, Buanne spent his childhood growing up between two home towns — his birthplace of Vienna and Naples.

He can speak fluently in six languages and has performed for such luminaries as Pope John Paul II, the President of the United States of America and royal families.
