THE Liverpool Festival is back bigger and better.
This year's event will include three big weeks of festivals starting with the Fijian Festival this weekend and Islamic Eid Festival on weekend of October, Saturday 19.
The Liverpool festival will be held on October 25, 26 and 27.
All festival events are free and held at Woodward Park.
Fijian Indian committee organiser Arun Singh said it was important to include community members in cultural celebrations and events.
"We're hoping to bring the entire community together to celebrate," he said.
"We love being Australian citizens, but we also like to remember our ancestors and our background."
It will include traditional Fijian ceremonies, dances, food stores and live entertainment.
There will also be amusement rides, games and showbags.
The Islamic Eid Festival will feature the Liverpool Festival Talent Quest, circus skills workshops, live bands and entertainment.
Liverpool festival organiser Garry O'Neill said he wanted to make the event appeal to all of the Liverpool communities.
"Bring the family, enjoy the fun and let us all join in celebrating the fabulous city of Liverpool," he said.
The festivals will be held at Woodward Park from 6-10.30pm on Friday, and 2pm-10.30pm on Saturday and Sunday.
