TRISTAN Williams has bagged a hat-trick in only his second game of cricket.
Tristan, 10, said he still can't believe he got the hat-trick which has put him into Green Valley Cricket Club's record books.
Playing for the club's under-11s team against Liverpool Lions, Tristan took 3-6 from two overs.
All three dismissals were bowled.
"I got the wickets on the first, second and third balls of my first over," an excited Tristan said.
"I had never played competition cricket before, only in the backyard with my mates. I am glad I started playing cricket."
Tristan, a year 5 pupil at Liverpool West Public School was signed up to play cricket by a friend. The right-arm slow bowler said he wants to get more wickets.
Green Valley's under-11s team coach Mark Long jumped the fence in excitement when Tristan got his hat-trick.
"The players in the team were jumping all over me," Tristan said.
