■Go Green: Liverpool City Council is calling on residents to help create a sustainable environment by taking part in Bushcare's Major Day Out this Sunday at Australis Park in Wattle Grove from noon-2pm. ■Spring Fair: St Mark's Anglican Church at Sadleir will host its annual Spring Fair from 9am-2pm on Saturday, September 21. The event is aimed at promoting the church's community programs. ■Anti-theft plates: Green Valley Police will be at Bunnings Warehouse, Hoxton Park on the weekend of September 21 and 22, from 8am-3pm. Police will be replacing number plate screws in personal vehicles, with new anti-theft screws. This is a free service that uses specially-designed screws to reduce the theft of number plates from vehicles within Green Valley.

■Thinking of others: Liverpool Library's knitting group, K2tog, have breast cancer survivors in mind, as they work on creating cotton prosthetic breasts which will be donated to the Oncology Unit at Liverpool Hospital.
