ST Johns Park Bowling Club will celebrate Fathers' Day on Sunday, September 1, with free entertainment for children and dads who are young at heart and enjoy a bit of fun.
The theme is a Mad Scientist's Party, complete with loads of educational and fun experiments to explore.
Along with demonstrations by their wacky and mildly eccentric scientists, children will have the opportunity for some hands on experience, making a volcano, elephant toothpaste, self-inflating balloons and more.
Children can also make their own slime blob to take home.
The Mad Scientists Party and face painting is free in the Main Lounge from noon.
The chefs from Saints Brasserie will also be there, cooking up a storm with the Father's Day favourite delicious beef rib eye steak served on mash with greens and mushroom sauce, followed by a delicious apple crumble with ice cream or cream for just $30.
All the usual menu items will also be available for the family to enjoy on Father's Day.
