WEST Sydney Trojans American football team made it two consecutive wins this season defeating Central Coast Sharks 26-25 at Budgewoi on Saturday.
The Trojans under-19s team got home by one point in a thriller and share the competition lead after two rounds.
Trojans coach David Ward said it's a good start to the season.
But Ward said they must now focus on their round three clash this Saturday at their home ground, Craik Park, Austral at 2pm, against Bondi Raiders.
The Trojans play in the Gridiron NSW Football League.
Ward said they came back from behind to win against the Central Coast Sharks.
"We scored a touchdown to win in the final 30 seconds," Ward said.
"The team showed a lot of character to win the match and we will be ready for another hard game this weekend."
Ward said the players were looking forward to playing at home for the first time this season.
The Trojans are the junior feeder club for the West Sydney Pirates which play in the Gridiron NSW Football League competition from September to December.
