West Sydney Trojans American football team began the season with a 26-18 win over UTS Titans at Pennant Hills Hockey Centre on Friday night. The Trojans under-19s team now face Central Coast Sharks this Saturday at Slade Park, Budgewoi, at 6pm.

Fairfield Liverpool first grade cricket team batsman Grant Lambert scored an unbeaten 66 in the team's innings of 5-127 against Sydney Uni at Rosedale Oval on Saturday.
Dogs tackle Cowboys
Canterbury Bulldogs host the North Queensland Cowboys this Saturday at Bluetongue Stadium, Gosford, at 7.30pm. Wests Tigers meet Newcastle Knights at Hunter Sports Stadium in the first 2013 Monday Night Football clash. Their first home game is Sunday, March 17 at Campbelltown Stadium.
