A Leppington man has been charged with allegedly stealing $4000 from a children’s cancer charity at a Broadway shopping complex on February 17.
A Leppington man has been charged with allegedly stealing $4000 from a children’s cancer charity at a Broadway shopping complex on February 17.
The 45 year old was arrested at an Austral pharmacy on Tuesday afternoon.
He was charged with one count of stealing.
Police said the stolen money was the proceeds of raffle-ticket sales.
The man was refused bail and was due to face Bankstown Local Court.
Last week a 39-year-old woman was also arrested and charged in relation to the same incident. She is before the court.
