TEENAGER Jake Doran has been selected in the Australian under-19s squad to tour New Zealand next month.
The 16-year-old will head away with the national squad as the No.1 wicket-keeper and one of the top order batsmen on the tour.
There are 14 players in the squad.
The tour runs from March 30 to April 8.
Australia will play one three-day game and three 50-overs matches.
Jake is now a permanent member of the Fairfield Liverpool first grade team along with brother Luke, 21.
"I think it's fantastic for Jake to be selected in the squad for the tour of New Zealand," Fairfield Liverpool president Richard Cook.
"He's progressed well through our graded ranks and debuted in first grade last season when only 14."
Jake made his first grade debut with Fairfield Liverpool when only 14.
