CASULA Powerhouse is the first venue to host a contemporary exhibition showcasing a unique relationship between art and women in sport.
The recent opening of the Women in Sport exhibition is open until March 24.
Governor-General Quentin Bryce visited the Casula Powerhouse last Wednesday.
She met many students and saw their work at the exhibition and toured the Powerhouse.
Sportspeople, school students and sports lovers are flocking to the exhibition.
There are two other major events being held as part of the Women in Sport Initiative, including a Girls Get Active Schools' Gala Day on Friday, March 8.
There are 20 schools attending which will include guest speakers and a question time with prominent Australian women athletes.
This will be followed by a Women in Sport Forum on Saturday, March 15, and Sunday, March 16.
The two-day event is led by speakers from the sporting and arts communities, discussing issues such as the Onside Exhibition, women in sport and parenting the athlete.
