The Prospector Store on show at Casula Powerhouse

■On show: The Prospector Store has popped up at Casula Powerhouse Art Centre. The store is a part of a project called 'pop up Parramatta'. It is run in collaboration with Liverpool and Parramatta City Councils and Arts NSW. The store encourages visitors to change the way they feel about "the art" of shopping. ■Support: Dads in Distress Services is an organisation that helps men going through separation grief and related issues. The Liverpool group meets at Interskills Training Rooms, Masonic Centre, corner Copeland Street (Hume Highway) and Memorial Avenue, every Thursday at 7pm.

■Free Expo: Liverpool Volunteer Resource Centre will hold a volunteer expo at Liverpool Library on Friday, March 8, at 10am-2pm. The exhibition will include a variety of local organisations people can be a part of.

■Slim and trim: For those who want to live a healthier life in 2013. Slim and Trim at Warwick Farm is looking for new members. ■Carers needed: The University of Western Sydney research office is looking for carers of cancer patients to talk about their experience for a new project. ■Stay active: Dance classes for people with intellectual and physical disabilities will be held at the Casula Powerhouse Arts Centre every Tuesday fortnight from 10.30am until 12.30pm. ■ Set your mind free: Create It classes will be held at Casula Powerhouse Arts Centre on the first Saturday of the month at 11am. The free classes are open to residents of all abilities, including children from the age of five through to adults up to 30. ■Want to be heard?: What Matters? is an annual writing competition run by the Whitlam Institute. The competition is opened to students in years 5 to 12.
