Passengers chip in
WESTBUS and Hillsbus passengers have donated $9344 to The Children's Hospital at Westmead during last year's Christmas buses initiative. Owner ComfortDelGro Cabcharge sponsored the campaign with the support of the Transport Workers Union.
Play on life story
Tony Hoang, who featured in SBS television series Once Upon a Time in Cabramatta, will stage his life story about gangs, drugs and redemption through drama performance Break Free. It will be at PCYC Miller on February 22 and 23 from 7.30pm. The first 50 bookings will receive a free DVD. Mr Hoang will also share his story on February 24 at 10.30am and 6pm. Admission is free. Applications for the Local Sporting Champions program grants closes on February 28. Individual grant of $500 and $3000 for teams are on offer.
