Touch season

Wanderers rise
Western Sydney Wanderers moved into third place on the A-League competition table after a 1-0 win over Melbourne Heart at Parramatta Stadium on Saturday night. The Wanderers next play Adelaide United this Sunday at Hindmarsh Stadium, Adelaide.

Lions thrash Gordon
Fairfield Liverpool first grade cricket team thrashed Gordon by 53 runs on the first innings on Saturday at Rosedale Oval. In reply to the Lions' score of 161, Gordon made 108. Lions bowler Gurinder Sandhu took 7-40. The Lions next play against Sydney this Saturday at Drummoyne Oval.
